By using the thimble, long welded rails can be threaded into place ready for fastening or quickly removed from the rail seats for transposing. Four rollers grip the rail securely under the head and support it during the procedure. The Thimble is designed to handle all standard flat bottomed rail. Compatible with all Story Contracting RRV’s.
