Our Fleet

Our ARC Astra Rail Cropper has a cutting force of 500ton at the jaw centre, and is specially designed for cropping lengths of rail in a safe working environment.  The unit possesses the ability to cut most types of scrap British rail, and can do so from an upright position or on its side, increasing on-site efficiency by reducing any required preparation time.

In addition to its exceptional cropping power, the ARC Astra Rail Cropper is compatible with Story Plant’s full fleet of RRV’s, ensuring any machine already on-site can be adapted to carry out cropping activities.
