At our Carlisle refurbishment facility, the Story Plant in-house refurbishment team has been hard at work, completing full upgrades on two more Colmar T10000 RRVs. This latest achievement brings our total number of upgraded Colmars to ten, marking another milestone in our ongoing improvement programme.
Beyond the standard upgrades to renew the machines’ seven-year certification, the team has gone the extra mile, carrying out additional works to boost the performance and reliability of these machines. The improved machines now include a laser measuring system for the extending booms, specially developed by the team, as well as larger oil coolers to combat overheating and a new electronic control unit designed to minimise electrical failures.
Thanks to our dedicated refurbishment team, each of the upgraded Colmar T10000s has now been transformed into a high-performance asset, which is suitable for carrying out a vast scope of tasks for our clients across the UK.
